随着年龄的增加,尤其到了35岁—40岁,骨量开始流失,而女性的骨量则丢失得更快。

糖尿病患者由于高血糖,会在肾脏排出过多葡萄糖的同时,增加钙离子的滤过率,同时骨骼中的镁、磷等成分也随之丢失,这将导致骨骼中钙、镁、磷等无机盐成分减少,从而使骨量下降。

同时,糖尿病患者胰岛素分泌不足,而胰岛素具有促进骨基质和骨胶原合成的作用。

骨基质和胶原蛋白合成不足,会增加骨骼的脆性,从而增加骨折的风险。   另外,糖尿病患者多存在肥胖和运动量减少的情形,骨骼由于力量刺激不足也会出现骨质量下降。 因此,在糖尿病患者日趋增多的今天,骨质疏松这个隐形杀手也随之而来。

虽然崴脚时力量不大,但糖尿病患者代谢紊乱,导致身体肌肉力量下降,而良好的肌肉力量可以维持身体平衡,同时在摔倒时起到卸力缓冲,保护骨骼和关节的作用。 糖尿病患者的这种自身保护能力变差,容易发生摔倒,出现骨折。   更为严重的是,糖尿病可以引起周围神经病变。

它主要是由于血糖长期过高以后,机体内产生很多毒性物质,如果糖等造成的。 这些物质影响了神经细胞的功能状态,比较突出的临床表现就是肢体双侧对称性的痛觉减低。

其实,疼痛是人体一种非常重要的自我保护机制。 当痛觉降低后,人体由于对疼痛感知不明显,会忽略损伤的存在。   张女士正是因为以上原因,才在轻微外力作用下出现了严重骨折,而并没有获得及时的救治。 所以,糖尿病患者一定要注意尽早发现血糖异常,进行科学的血糖管理,减少并发症。 同时,注意补充钙质,增加活动量,提高骨骼质量,对于活动中出现的损伤,要及时就诊,以免错失最佳治疗时机。
